System Overview and Challenges

The client procures and retails properties and follows through various stages for these processes. These stages require events for the sales team to follow up on the end-user-client. The initiation and recording of these pivotal events were a manual process, demanding substantial time and effort from the dedicated business administrators. This was one issue, the second issue was that when suggesting Properties, the Sales team wanted to be able to see a map where they could look at the nearby properties for the buyer.

The cumbersome event process not only posed challenges in terms of resource allocation but also resulted in occasional oversights. Apart form that, not being able to look at properties in a live screen required the agent to look at all properties using the address. This lead to diminution of customer satisfaction and eroding trust in the company’s commitment to service excellence.

Solution

In addressing the identified operational bottleneck, the Kizzy team proactively undertook initiatives to implement a comprehensive automation solution, characterised by distinct naming conventions tailored to various event types. This strategic approach involved the development and deployment of individualised automations for both event creation and updates. To seamlessly integrate these automations with the existing data infrastructure, specialised custom scripts were meticulously crafted and employed.

Apart from this, Kizzy team tailored a custom component, which worked in the following way:

  1. A custom component was created and put up on the Buyer Properties detail page.
  2. This custom component looks into Seller properties with the same city and postal code.
  3. All such Seller properties are put on the map component in the Buyer Property page.
  4. This helps the sales rep in deciding which Property they can suggest to the Buyer.

In order to enhance the accessibility and retrieval of information pertinent to any Listing, a custom component was developed and integrated into the operational framework. This component proved instrumental in providing a consolidated and comprehensive overview of all aspects related to the events of a given Listing. Through these concerted efforts, the Kizzy team not only successfully addressed the operational bottleneck but also established a robust and efficient automated system, thereby fostering improved operational efficiency and data management within the organisational ecosystem.
